Applications
for most Housing Programs may be
filled out at our Admissions office at
380 North Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas,
NV. 89101. Monday through Thursday between
8 a.m. and 4 p.m. You may print out the Pre-Application form and Coversheet(s), but you do have to submit it in person.
Mail-ins
will be accepted for those out of state or Elderly/Handicap applicants Only. (Download the
Application Process Brochure
for complete information on the admission process)
Applicants are placed on a
wait list according to the date and time of their application, the size of the
unit for which they qualify, and local preference for which they may qualify.
The wait list for Conventional Public Housing is six to twelve months. The wait
list for Section 8 is approximately eighteen to twenty-four
months.

Applicants for all opened wait lists are accepted Monday thru
Thursday from 8am - 12 noon and 1pm - 4pm, except holidays at 380 North Maryland
Parkway, Las Vegas, NV. 89101, Admissions Department. For additional information, please call

Very important
things you need to do to know:

If you have a change of address, you must
submit an address update in writing to the attention of the admissions
department.

If you cannot be contacted at the last address submitted, the
housing authority will withdraw your application from the wait list. You will
have to reapply.
What happens after you
apply?
-
Your application will be screened to see if
you are eligible to apply.
-
If you pre-qualify:
-
The first letter will be the only one you will
be receiving for some time. It could be longer than 6 to 12 months before you
receive your appointment letter.

You can call to find out your ranking on the
wait list by calling 1-800-291-3469 (Out of State) 702-383-2805 (Local) this
information is available 24 Hrs a day.
-
A letter will be sent for your appointment
when more vacancies are available and your name comes up on the wait list.

After you bring in all required documentation
to your appointment, you will be notified if you qualify for the program.

If you qualify for the program, the admissions
department will then send you an offer letter of the next available unit that
meets your family needs.

Once you receive this letter it will be up to
you to make contact with the manager to schedule an appointment to view the
unit.
